About Calcvera

Calcvera is a set of free finance calculators for people in the United States and the United Kingdom, with more countries to follow. The name comes from "calc" and "vera", Latin for true: the point of the site is calculators you can trust.

Why this site exists

Many calculators online are built for one country and quietly used everywhere else, or give a number without saying how they got it. Calcvera builds a separate version for each country, uses that country's rules and currency, and shows the formula behind every result.

Who runs it

Calcvera is built and maintained by M. Maaz Ali. Every calculator is tested against known correct answers before it is published, and every tax figure is checked against the official government source.

What we don't do

• We don't give financial advice. Our tools and guides are educational.
• We don't collect the numbers you type. Calculations run in your browser.
• We don't accept payment to change a calculator's results.

How the site is funded

Calcvera is free to use and is supported by advertising. If we ever include affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled on the page and listed in our Disclaimer.
